Where Did Fall Go?

The last few days here have felt a lot more like winter than fall. To be fair, it probably isn't that much colder than Milwaukee was when I was at MU. The fact of the matter is I am a wimp when it comes to cold weather. Doc still is wearing a light jacket, while I am wearing my gloves, hat, scarf, and winter coat.

Before this cold spell some of my friends from German class and I met up to enjoy the nice autumn weather and practice our German. We took one of the small cruises on Lake Zürich and went up to the Uetliberg, where on a nice day there is a gorgeous view of Zürich.

Fall Visitor

Last week our friend from the states visited us. We spent some time seeing the sites around Zürich, and we also went on a few short excursions. We took the train down to Locarno one day and enjoyed the great weather in the south.

We also decided to go out to Geneva. There we visited the U.N. and the Red Cross. Of course, that was great fun for me!
