Summer storm

Yesterday, we had some of the hottest temperatures of the year. In Zürich, that generally means thunderstorms will follow. We woke up in the middle of the night to hail--but a quick check showed it was just small, pea-sized hail, so we went back to sleep. This morning we woke again to the sound of hail, but it was clear it wasn't the same hail as last night. We looked out the window and were surprised at just how large the hail was--golf ball-sized! I haven't seen hail like that since I lived in OK!
